Riding during the Golega horse fair
Have a ride in the famous horse fair of Golegã and immerse yourself in the local equestrian tradition. Ride through scenic hills and meet Romulo Batista’s foals. Discover the region’s heritage and indulge in wine tasting at our Quinta. Put together a group of at least 4 participants and ask for your all-inclusive program so you can travel with peace of mind.
This package offers you 1 to 2 hours of riding a day, adapted to your level. This includes either a 1 hour basic or dressage lesson and a ride in the surrounding hills. The rider and breeder, Romulo Batista, will also show you his mares and foals. During the Golega horse fair in early November, you will have the opportunity to ride at the fair and immerse yourself in the local equestrian tradition. Of course, you will have several visits to the fair according to the program.
In addition to equestrian activities, this package includes a trip to Nazaré to see the highest waves in the world during the season. You will also have a Portuguese wines and olive oil tasting in the Quinta’s wine cellar.
During the 7-days stay, you will explore the region’s extraordinary cultural heritage, with a visit to the Templar fortress of Tomar and the cathedral of Batalha (2 UNESCO World Heritage).
